EXHIBITION OF NEW ARTWORKS
A new collection of original artworks launches especially for the festival on Saturday 12 September.
Susan is a leading UK pressed flower, textile and mixed media artist who has exhibited in Cornwall and London. Her work is unique. She is a self-taught artist and author. The catalyst for her artwork was a head injury she suffered after contracting meningitis whilst working as a lawyer.
One off unique originals will be for sale alongside some new limited edition print releases of a few selected artworks.
Each piece will reflect the moods and human emotions which St Ives evokes, whether it be the unique colours of the sea or the subtle hues of calm waters, or the silvery pallet of the coast on a day of sea mist.
Special features will include oyster shells from the Fal which have been fished using boats without engines, so only powered by wind, sail or oar kindly donated by fisherman Les and some donated by the Razor Clam restaurant St Ives.
