Tate St Ives presents the first UK museum exhibition of visionary Lithuanian-American artist Aleksandra Kasuba. Fleeing Lithuania after the Second World War, Kasuba rebuilt her life and art in New York, then New Mexico. Spanning seven decades, this exhibition traces her journey from early paintings and mosaics to immersive sculptures and architectural designs — all shaped by nature’s forms: shells, rocks, vegetation, marine life. In the 1960s, Kasuba joined Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.), a pioneering collective of artists, engineers and scientists — collaborating to imagine bolder, deeper connections between people and the world around them.
