Join artist Liz Hough for a lively two-hour workshop at the historic Porthmeor Print Workshop in St Ives. Working from a carefully selected collection of natural and man-made still life objects, we will explore observational drawing alongside simple monoprinting techniques in an expressive and intuitive way. Beginning with fast-paced, gestural mark-making to loosen the hand and eye, the session will gradually slow down into more focused looking — capturing detail, texture and form through drawing and print. This workshop encourages playful experimentation, close observation and an appreciation of the unique character of everyday objects within the inspiring setting of one of Cornwall’s most significant print studios. Suitable for all abilities, limited to 8 people, all materials supplied, including tea & coffee & cake
