St Ives Town Council is a long-time supporter of the St Ives September Festival. The Council-run Guildhall has for many years been the main entertainment venue for the Festival, with the Council-run St Ives Library also hosting lunchtime events including talks with well-known authors.
St Ives Business Improvement District (BID) scheme is a business-led initiative supported by government legislation which gives local businesses the power to ‘raise funds locally to be spent locally’ on improving their trading environment.
