Welcome to St Ives Library & Information Centre where you can book tickets for St Ives September Festival shows.
The Library is also the Information Centre for visitors and locals alike with regular events in theGreta Williams meeting room. Drop in and meet the friendly and informative staff. St Ives Library is open from Monday to Saturday (9.30am-4pm).

 

Monday September 16 (1.30-4pm) INTUITIVE ABSTRACT PAINTING WORKSHOP

Create several abstract works with water-based paints and mixed media as abstract artist Zoe Eaton of Barnoon Arts shares her approach to creating ‘intuitive’ paintings.
Zoe will start with  a series of playful and creative exercises, designed to tap into your inner abstract artist!
Explore improvisational mark making to develop ideas. Experiment with tools and techniques using watercolour, gouache, collage, acrylic and mixed media to create a variety of study pieces.  Finish with a sketchbook full of ideas and a finished pieces on quality paper or canvas board.
