St Ives Community Orchard

St Ives Community Orchard and Wildlife Reserve is 30 acres of beautiful open-access green space on Penbeagle Hill overlooking St Ives. A wildlife haven encouraging biodiversity as well as a place where people can socialise, work, learn, play, relax and enjoy the fruits of their labour.
It has a large, open area to relax and hold community events, a living willow dome, vegetable garden, pizza oven, bonfire space and an apiary with unusual beehives. More than 1,000 native trees have been planted. At the top of the hill there is heathland with granite tors with 360-degree views of the ocean and the moors.
