Established in 2015, by artists Zoe Eaton and Peter Giles at their former premises in Barnoon Workshop which provided  Creative Workshops exhibitions and community arts projects.
Barnoon Arts  moved to its present  location at  Westcotts Quay in 2022. With a contemporary gallery downstairs, showcasing original abstract paintings and drawings,  unique prints, cards. and a range of art materials. Upstairs there  is a small working studio with stunning sea views and  specutalular views of St Ives Harbour and Bay. Tel 07900 095203.

Create several abstract works with water-based paints and mixed media as abstract artist Zoe Eaton of Barnoon Arts shares her approach to creating ‘intuitive’ paintings.
Zoe will start with  a series of playful and creative exercises, designed to tap into your inner abstract artist!
Explore improvisational mark making to develop ideas. Experiment with tools and techniques using watercolour, gouache, collage, acrylic and mixed media to create a variety of study pieces.  Finish with a sketchbook full of ideas and a finished pieces on quality paper or canvas board.
£45 including materials, suitable for all ages. Maximum 10 places BOOKING

Saturday September 21 (1pm) FESTIVAL PORTRAIT CHALLENGE

Take part in our festival Portrait Challenge! Draw our special guest model for a chance to be crowned ‘Portrait Artist of the Festival’. There is help and guidance on hand with Barnoon Arts tutors and basic art materials provided ( A4 and A3 drawing board, papers and a range of pencils, colour pencils, pastels…but feel free to bring your own favourite materials. The judges favourite portrait will receive a £20 Barnoon Arts gift voucher. BOOKING £20

Saturday September 28 (2-4pm) THE DROP-IN ART ROOM

Think you need to be a great artist to come to an art class? Think again!
This drop-in art session is for all ages and abilities. Whether you say you can’t paint or draw or you’ve always wanted to have a taste of what it’s like to be an artist, this session will be super fun and chilled with expert advice on hand.
With plenty of activities and materials on hand to try, there’s something for everyone.
Add to the Communal Drawing, draw from the Nature Table, try Mono-printing, make an Abstract Collage, Adult and Child Colouring sheets to try – and more..
Run by St Ives Arts Club and Barnoon Arts. No need to book, just drop in, pay on arrival and have fun! Adults £5. Children £2.
