The afternoon will celebrate St Ives’ sandcastle building tradition with a fun sandcastle competition. The event includes categories for all and a range of great prizes. Build anything that inspires you on plots 3 metres by 3 metres. Architects from across Cornwall will also demonstrate their skills.

Breabach
Breabach began 2017 in exciting fashion as receivers of the Scots Trad Music Awards ‘Folk Band of the Year’ for the second time and ‘Album of the Year’ for their fifth studio album ‘Astar’. A special Celtic Connections show to celebrate the album was held in February in Glasgow’s City Halls and was received by a sell out crowd and 5 star review in the Scotsman. Breabach are at the very top of their game and one not to be missed. Unreserved seating.
