It improves mental and physical wellbeing through meditation exercises and developing one’s character, according to Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Bring your own towel/beach mat to sit on for meditation.

Sit by the fire as the sun sets and watch this alternative method of firing ceramics. Artists Mary Kaun English and Martyn Perryman are available to explain the process and answer all questions as they prepare the pit and fire the work. After lighting the fire last night, the ceramics have been exposed to the elements in the purpose-built kiln. The organic colours of the smoke have permeated the surface of the clay. Watch the beauty of this process unfold, as the ceramics are unearthed.
