St Ives September Festival – Accessibility Policy

Venues and wheelchair access
We use a number of venues around the town of St Ives, these may vary from year to year. Many of these venues, but not all, provide wheelchair access. We publish a map in our festival brochure and on our website (www.stivesseptemberfestival.co.uk) and we update this map each year with the current list of venues and we update the annotations showing which venues have wheelchair access.

Essential carers
In cases where a person buys a ticket for a festival event and that person needs an essential carer to accompany them to the event, we allow the carer to attend the event free.

Communicating accessibility requirements to the festival organisers
Any accessibility requirements should be communicated when tickets are ordered by calling the Festival’s main box office, CRBO, on (01726) 879500. CRBO box office staff will note the requirements on the order and may be able to offer immediate advice about the venue access.
CRBO will pass the requirements to the festival organisers on the day of the event so that event stewards are made aware of the requirements. At the venue, the event stewards will provide whatever assistance is required.

Complaints
We hope that you enjoy attending the festival events and that we handle your requirements well. If this is not the case then please let us know so that we can make improvements. The contact details are given on the festival website under “Contact the Festival”.
